Key Responsibilities

The Reentry Resource Administrator provides strategic leadership, operational oversight, and community network integration for a team of specialized resource coordinators. Operating under general direction, this position leads a multidisciplinary team of civilian domain specialists across core stabilization areas—including housing, workforce development, healthcare, behavioral health navigation, food security, education, vital document retrieval, transportation, and life skills. The Administrator focuses on resource delivery and service navigation, ensuring that individuals needing transition services receive rapid, coordinated support without administrative barriers.

Qualifications

Essential Tasks

• Program Leadership & Team Supervision: Direct, supervise, and evaluate a multi-disciplinary team of resource specialists delivering targeted community services across housing, employment, health navigation, and essential support services.
• Inter-Departmental Service Coordination: Establish seamless referral workflows with facility‑based transition teams and community outreach staff to execute immediate, face‑to‑face, warm handoffs and maintain uninterrupted service continuity.
• Community Network & Provider Expansion: Build and maintain strategic partnerships with state agencies, local housing authorities, trade unions, healthcare networks, and non‑profit organizations to continuously expand community resources.
• Field Safety & Supervision Alignment: Enforce operational safety boundaries to ensure civilian specialists operate within established safety protocols, coordinating joint field deployments with outreach staff and probation/parole officers when necessary.
• Performance Metrics & Contract Oversight: Monitor service delivery velocity, long‑term participant stabilization outcomes (housing, job, and care retention), and external service provider contracts to ensure alignment with research‑based standards.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Community Resource Systems: Comprehensive operational understanding of statewide housing, workforce development, healthcare, public assistance, legal identification, and adult education networks.
• Civilian Team Leadership: Demonstrated ability to direct, mentor, and hold accountable a diverse team of civilian resource specialists operating within a public safety environment.
• Service Delivery & Process Design: Expertise in evidence-based stabilization practices and designing client‑centered workflows that remove administrative hurdles to community reintegration.
• Strategic Initiative & Partnership Building: Proven track record of proactively solving cross-agency challenges, negotiating provider contracts, and building sustainable community networks.
• This is NOT a remote work position. Some travel between facilities is required.
