Qualifications

• Must have 24 semester hours in behavioral or social sciences or equivalent combination with 4-year degree.
• Graduate education must be in corrections or related fields (criminal justice, sociology, psychology, counseling, social work).
• Specialized experience in casework, counseling with diagnostic/treatment planning, or social rehabilitation is expected for higher grades.

Responsibilities

• Assist in case management services.
• Assist in collecting, verifying, and analyzing information for social histories.
• Assist in writing correspondence and responses to various sources.
• Assist in determining inmate needs and program goals and monitor progress.
