Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Two years of professional experience in corrections, law enforcement, probation/parole, juvenile justice, social work, or related field.
  • Graduate study in law enforcement, corrections, behavioral sciences, or related field may substitute for experience.
  • Experience in probation/parole, corrections, law enforcement, or social work may substitute for required education.
  • Must be 21 years of age and maintain any required licensure or certs.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate pre-release services such as home placement and transportation for medical appointments.
  • Monitor and facilitate PORTAL New Directions, MR Therapy, and pre-release programming.
  • Assist with risk/needs assessments in program and treatment plans.
  • Enhance community involvement by connecting offenders with providers upon release.
  • Attend and participate in local reentry councils.
  • Prepare monthly reports and maintain ACA-standard files.
