Sonoco in Richmond, KY is seeking an assembler to keep a new reel assembly line running safely and efficiently. You will assemble wood reels for wire, cable, and industrial applications, using hand and power tools and collaborating with other departments.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehousing environment is helpful.
• Get it done attitude and urgency to resolve problems/tasks.

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble wood reels using hand and power tools according to specifications.
• Collaborate with other departments and teams.
• Troubleshoot problems and think on your feet.
• Make incremental process adjustments and monitor quality.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Perform duties as directed by supervisor/manager.
• Support Sonoco’s quality and safety policies.
• Assist other departments as needed.
