Job summary
Sonsray is hiring a Reefer Technician in North Haven, CT. The role involves keeping transport refrigeration equipment—trucks, trailers, and APUs—operating safely and efficiently in a fast-paced dealership setting.
The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience diagnosing and repairing refrigeration systems, with proficiency in diagnostic tools and multi-meters. EPA 608/609 certification is preferred or obtainable. This full-time position offers growth in a leading service team.
Qualifications
- 2+ years diagnosing and repairing transport refrigeration components.
- Experience with Thermo King, Carrier, APUs, gensets and V-series units preferred.
- EPA 608/609 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair truck/trailer refrigeration components and APUs.
- Perform preventive maintenance, component replacement, and service of refrigeration equipment.
- Document repairs and prepare estimates from shop orders.
- Perform other duties to support dealership objectives.
