Job summary

Marten Transport is seeking a skilled Reefer Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair reefers in our maintenance team. You will perform preventive maintenance and necessary repairs to keep equipment safe, reliable, and road-ready.

Qualifications

• EPA certification preferred but not required.
• HVAC experience required (EPA certification can be attained on-the-job).
• Preferred 1 year experience with single/multi temp reefers.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work in varying temperatures.
• Flexibility to work different shifts and schedules as needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair reefer fleet equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and necessary repairs
• Rebuild and repair equipment components as needed
• Maintain accurate repair orders, including labor and parts documentation
• Follow company safety procedures and maintenance standards
• Help keep equipment safe, reliable, and road-ready
