Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to provide overall leadership and management for a Government logistics and analytical support contract. The Program Manager will serve as the primary point of contact with the Government and will have responsibility and authority for contract performance, personnel, quality, safety, and successful execution of contract requirements.
This position requires significant experience managing Government contracts and a strong background in Army logistics.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the contractor and Government.
- Provide overall management and oversight of contract performance.
- Direct and oversee personnel supporting geographically dispersed operations.
- Ensure contract requirements, deliverables, schedules, and performance standards are achieved.
- Manage quality-control and performance-management activities.
- Oversee workforce performance, staffing, and personnel accountability.
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with Government leadership and contractor management.
- Identify performance risks and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain effective communication across multiple work locations and functional areas.
- Ensure contract operations comply with applicable FAR/DFARS requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related applicable discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience managing Government contracts.
- Minimum 5 years of Army logistics experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing a geographically dispersed workforce.
- Demonstrated leadership and contract-management experience.
- Knowledge of FAR/DFARS requirements.
- Experience with quality-control and performance-management processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Must possess or be eligible to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
