Job summary

RedLion Mobility is seeking a Retail Sales Representative in Norwalk, CT. This full-time, in-person role focuses on engaging customers, presenting wireless, cable, internet, and related services, and driving sales with upsell and cross-sell opportunities.

You will meet or exceed sales goals, explain pricing and promotions, and deliver a positive customer experience in a fast-paced retail environment. Training and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer-facing sales experience in wireless, mobile, cable, internet, telecommunications, or retail sales.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs.

This role is best for someone with customer-facing sales experience in wireless, mobile, cable, internet, telecommunications, or retail sales. The ideal candidate must be comfortable actively engaging customers, recommending products and services, upselling, cross-selling, and working toward sales and commission goals in a fast-paced retail store environment.

Who We Are

We are a rapidly expanding branded partner for Optimum Communications - a major U.S. telecommunications provider offering fiber-powered Internet, Mobile, TV, and voice services to customers across 21 states. You'll work in our retail stores, helping residential customers connect to the above essential services.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Product Knowledge

• Must be able to engage customers and present telecommunications products and services proactively.
• Must be comfortable selling mobile, internet, cable, TV, and related support services.
• Should know how to identify customer needs and recommend the right products or service packages.
• Must be able to upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities.
• Must be able to meet or exceed individual sales goals, commission goals, and store performance expectations.
• Must be able to explain products, services, pricing, and promotions clearly to customers.

Customer Experience

• Must provide a positive, professional, and solution-focused customer experience.
• Should be comfortable building customer relationships and creating long-term brand loyalty.
• Must maintain high customer satisfaction standards, including Net Promoter Score (NPS) goals

Team & Organizational Success

• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work scheduled shifts.
• Must be able to collaborate with team members and contribute to a supportive, performance-driven culture
• Must be willing to support nearby store locations within a 35-mile radius when needed and have reliable transportation
• Must be able to work in person at the assigned retail store location.

Requirements

• Must have at least 1 year of customer-facing sales experience selling products, services, upgrades, or add-ons. Wireless, mobile, cable, internet, telecommunications, or retail sales experience is strongly preferred
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 35 lbs

Pay: $18/hour + monthly commission

Expected Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week

Total Compensation: $45,000 - $75,000 annually, based on hourly pay and commission performance
