Job summary

Genpact is hiring a Redis Engineer in NYC with a 3-day hybrid from office arrangement. You will design, deploy, maintain, and scale Redis clusters in mission-critical environments, while supporting the Linux-based infrastructure that underpins our real-time data platform.

The role requires strong Redis administration skills, experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift, and proficiency in Python scripting for data manipulation and automation.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Redis instances with high availability and performance.
• Redis administration including data structures, caching, and tuning.
• Monitor health, troubleshoot issues, and implement backup/recovery for Redis clusters.
• Configure Redis caching, sessions, and data storage.
• Develop Python scripts for data manipulation, integration, and automation related to Redis.
• Create data processing pipelines to ingest and process data from various sources.
• Optimize Python scripts for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with development teams to design Redis-based solutions.
• Provide training on Redis functionalities and Python scripting best practices.
• Document Redis configurations, scripts, and workflows for knowledge sharing.
• Generate performance reports and dashboards to monitor Redis usage and efficiency.
