Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Redaction Specialist for a 1-year contract in the Public Safety space, to support redaction procedures and manage digital evidence for sharing.

You will become the go-to expert on the company’s products, work with cross-functional teams to establish efficient processes, interpret policy and laws, and produce high-quality redactions for body-worn cameras and related devices.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience in criminal justice/public safety environments.
• Sharp personality with a desire to grow with the company.
• Proficient with Windows OS, mobile devices, and cloud-based solutions.
• Redaction experience on body-worn cameras.

Responsibilities

• Achieve proficiency in redaction processes and guidelines interpretation.
• Provide technical assistance to county precincts and train users.
• Analyze data and create reports for agency leadership.
• Manage duties within product-specific role assignments.
• Interpret policy and law to advise county leadership on best practices.
• Provide feedback to improve the public safety program and customer satisfaction.
• Participate in regular meetings with embedded teams and external agencies.

A company in the Public Safety space is seeking a sharp and driven Redaction Specialist to support their redaction procedures. In this role, you'll be playing a key role in supporting the redaction process and managing digital evidence for sharing. You will be looked upon as an expert in the use of their products to achieve timely production of redacted evidence and will work closely with multiple cross-functional teams to establish a high-functioning process and overcome challenges, to ensure technical quality of redactions. As someone that wears multiple hats, you will continually be focused on making your customer more efficient and more confident within their daily workflows.

Day to Day:

• Achieve proficiency in redaction process, including the interpretation of redaction guidelines
• Provide technical assistance to county precincts, troubleshoot devices and assist with product training
• Analyze data and create reports for agency leadership
• Manage all duties within the scope of product-specific role assignments
• Interpret policy and law to advise best practices to county leadership
• Provide feedback to continuously improve the client's public safety program and ensure customer satisfaction
• Participate in regular meetings with the embedded team, county representatives and external agencies
• Utilize strong communication and organizational skills to meet client objectives, customer expectations and complete tasks with regard to priority status

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 1+ years' experience criminal justice exposure (public safety/emergency medical/911 dispatch)
• Sharp personality and desire to grow with the company
• Proficient with Windows OS, mobile devices, and cloud-based solutions
