Job summary

Millennium Corporation in Washington DC is seeking a Red Team Security Engineer to join our hybrid team. The successful candidate will perform in-depth red team operations across diverse tools, systems, and networks, applying current attack techniques and defense concepts to strengthen DoD-like architectures.

Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly eligibility is required. BS degree with 5+ years experience or equivalent practical experience; certifications such as OSCP, GPEN, CEH, CCNA, or CISSP

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and respond to cyber events and incidents within information systems and networks.
• Assist with dynamic cyber defense, manage security toolsets, and support continuous monitoring programs.
• Contribute to risk assessments, security requirements, and vulnerability analyses to strengthen DoD-like architectures.
• Develop and implement security testing scripts and ensure compliance with standards and procedures.
• Support training and documentation efforts for SOC, Blue Team, and other defense personnel.

Responsibilities

Millennium Corporation is hiring a Red Team Security Engineer to work in Washington DC in a Hybrid capacity. The candidate must have active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly eligibility .

As a Red Team Security Engineer, you will be challenged to perform in-depth Red Team operations on a wide variety of tools, systems, services, and network/store/compute environments. Currency with attacking the latest IT and communications technologies - as well as a solid foundation in network and services basics - are a must.

In this job you will:

• Monitor, analyze, and detect Cyber events and incidents within information systems and networks under general supervision.
• Assist with integrated, dynamic cyber defense, coordinate and maintain security toolsets to support organizations’ continuous monitoring and ongoing authorization programs, establish a framework by which cyber risk can be measured and quantified in the marketplace.
• Determines security requirements by researching information security standards; conducting system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments; studying architecture/platform; identifying integration issues;
• Implements security systems by specifying intrusion detection methodologies and equipmentpreparing preventive and reactive measures;providing technical support to SOC, Blue Team, and other defenders;completing documentation.
• Verifies security systems by developing and implementing test scripts.
• Maintains security by monitoring and ensuring compliance with standards, policies, and procedures;conducting incident response analyses; developing and conducting training programs.
• Responsible for the design, development, implementation, and integration of a DoD-like IA architectures, systems, or system components for use within computing, network, and enclave environments.
• Ensure that the architecture and design of development and operational systems are functional and secure. This includes designs for program-of-record systems and special-purpose processing nodes with platform IT interconnectivity.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly eligbility
• BS & 5+ Yrs of experience or additional 5 yrs of experience in lieu of degree
• Required: Sec+ Desired (one or more): OSCP/E, GPEN, CEH, CCNA, CISSP

Business Development

Assist with Business Development activities as required to support Millennium's strategic business objectives, which may include but not limited to participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews.

Physical Requirements

• Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at a time.

COMPENSATION:

$135K-145K

The salary range provided for this position is intended as a general guideline and does not guarantee a specific salary or compensation amount. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including, relevant education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
