Active Secret clearance is required; Top Secret with SCI eligibility is preferred. US citizenship is required for clearance. Funding anticipated December 2026.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years' experience in software engineering applied to DoD or IT systems.
• Linux (firm grasp with demonstrated knowledge).
• Windows (foundational knowledge with enterprise network understanding).
• Strong knowledge of Penetration Testing tools: Kali, Metasploit, NMAP, Cobalt Strike.
• Experience in Penetration Testing, Red Team operations, or offensive software development (exploits/malware, C2, reverse engineering, bug bounties).
• Programming: Python, C, C#, C++, Go, Perl, PowerShell.
• Web development and web app pen testing experience; familiarity with REST/SOAP, OAuth2, SAML, LDAP.
• Active Secret clearance required; Top Secret with SCI eligibility preferred; US citizenship for clearance.
• Experience with AWS, cloud audit, serverless and microservice architectures; AWS services security best practices.
• Certifications: Security+, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, SSCP; Offensive Security OSCP/OSCE/OSEE/OSWP; SANS SEC560/SEC542/SEC660/SEC642/SEC564; CTF participation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct penetration testing and offensive cyber operations for DoD and US Government systems.
• Collaborate with Blue Team and cybersecurity professionals to enhance posture.
• Document findings and provide remediation guidance.
• Engage in Red Team operations in MDE environments and cloud contexts.
