Job summary

Equifax is seeking a Red Team Operator to emulate real-world threats and train defenders. You will execute offensive engagements, support multiple concurrent tests, and advance our Red Team toolset, including C2 infrastructure and EDR evasion.

Collaboration with Cyber Operations and Detection teams is essential. You will apply AI tools to speed up threat emulation, CVE analysis, and malware analysis while handling sensitive data in a regulated financial services environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of cybersecurity offensive work (red team, pentest, offensive security research).
• 1+ years writing code in at least one language (C, C#, Go, Python, PowerShell).
• Familiarity with Windows/Linux internals, AD, and networking fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Execute threat emulation engagements using real-world TTPs.
• Support multiple concurrent engagements with ROE and OPSEC.
• Collaborate on building and maintaining secure Red Team C2 infrastructure.
• Document findings in clear technical reports and support purple team activities.
• Contribute to tool development (BOFs, C2 extensions, EDR evasion).
• Apply AI tools to speed up threat emulation, CVE analysis, and malware analysis.
