EY is seeking a Red Team - Offensive Security Analyst - Manager to lead adversary emulation, threat hunting, and advanced defense initiatives. The role emphasizes collaboration across security testing, AI/ML integration, and reporting to stakeholders.

Candidates should have strong Windows/Unix/Linux knowledge and experience in hybrid enterprise environments. The position offers a hybrid work model with a focus on developing resilient security controls and threat-informed defense strategies

Qualifications

• 6+ years in red/team/purple/offensive security operations or related roles.
• Understanding of common and advanced cyber-attack vectors and TTPs.
• Knowledge of incident response and integrating red/purple findings into defense.
• Proficient with Windows and Unix/Linux.
• Familiarity with on-prem/cloud/hybrid environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform attacker TTP research and emulation in controlled environments.
• Conduct proactive threat hunting using SIEM, EDR, threat intel, and telemetry.
• Identify patterns of attacker methodologies and report security concerns.
• Develop and operationalize AI/ML to enhance cyber defense and detection.
• Analyze artifacts, logs, malware, and telemetry from testing and investigations.
• Communicate findings through reports, briefs, and executive summaries.
• Maintain and improve security testing procedures and protocol docs.
• Identify defenses gaps and improve threat coverage and response.
