Job summary

Svitla Systems Inc. is seeking a senior OpenShift Architect for a full-time, on-site role in College Park, Maryland. You will design secure OpenShift platforms, build OVE/OKE clusters, migrate VMware VMs, and drive enterprise architecture across multi-cloud environments.

The candidate brings deep OpenShift/Kubernetes expertise, Terraform IaC skills, and experience with hybrid/multi-cloud strategies. U.S. citizenship is required, and the position offers flexibility in workspace including on-site

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior OpenShift Architect with enterprise experience.
• Expert knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift architecture, design, deployment, and administration.
• Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with OpenShift Virtualization (OVE).
• Experience designing, deploying, and managing OKE clusters.
• VMware migration project experience.
• Strong cloud experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Hybrid/multi-cloud deployment strategies.
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Networking concepts including load balancers and firewalls.
• Container security best practices.
• Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• Security/regulatory frameworks: NIST and FedRAMP.
• US citizenship.

Responsibilities

Job description

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Red Hat OpenShift Architect for a full-time on-site position (40 hours per week) in College Park, Maryland, USA. Our client is a company that provides a wide range of IT services, including software development, Salesforce solutions for B2C and B2B, and CRM.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior OpenShift Architect with enterprise experience.
• Expert knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift architecture, design, deployment, and administration.
• Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with OpenShift Virtualization (OpenShift Virtualization Engine - OVE).
• Experience designing, deploying, and managing OpenShift Kubernetes Engine (OKE) clusters.
• Proven experience planning and executing VMware migration projects.
• Strong experience working with major cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Deep understanding of hybrid cloud and multi-cloud architectures and deployment strategies.
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including load balancers and firewalls.
• Experience implementing container security best practices.
• Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• Knowledge of security and regulatory compliance frameworks, including NIST and FedRAMP.
• Have a US citizenship.
