Job summary

First Solar, Inc. is seeking a hands-on operator to run recycling and wastewater/UPW processes. You will install, qualify, troubleshoot and optimize equipment to meet safety, efficiency, and performance goals.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with 1+ years in a technical or industrial setting; an associates degree is acceptable. Prior wastewater treatment experience is preferred and forklift operation is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• One or more years FS technical or industrial/technical experience.
• Associates degree in a technical discipline is acceptable.
• Experience in equipment maintenance and process troubleshooting preferred.
• Prior industrial wastewater treatment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop a complete operational understanding of installed recycling and water treatment systems.
• Ensure recycling, wastewater treatment and ultra-pure water generation processes run on target.
• Respond to process control alarms and make course corrections.
• Collect data on process control parameters and adjust as needed.
• Analyze process data and implement corrections during shifts.
