Job summary

kdc/one is hiring a Recycling Technician for our Groveport, Ohio site. You will support waste streams, recycling programs, and ensure environmental safety while performing hands-on duties.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year GMP manufacturing experience, and forklift experience. Certifications in RCRA/Hazardous Waste and DOT Hazmat are preferred. Join a growing team today.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; GMP/OSHA knowledge preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience in a regulated environment.
• 1+ year forklift experience required.
• RCRA & Hazardous Waste Management Certification and DOT Hazmat certification required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, dispose of, and ship recyclable, hazardous, and non-hazardous materials.
• Operate recycling and material-handling equipment, including forklifts, balers, compactors, drum haulers, and pallet jacks.
• Inspect and sort materials by type, size, condition, and grade.
• Maintain recycling and storage areas to meet GMP, OSHA, DOT, and EPA standards.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay up-to-date on recycling methods and regulations.
• Report gaps or issues to the Environmental Technician.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safety-focused.
• Jump in where needed—"other duties as assigned" is a team-player mindset!
