Qualifications

• Experience with compactors, balers, recycling systems, or similar equipment preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to inspect equipment and support basic troubleshooting.

• Ensure waste and recycling activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards.
• Follow all applicable safety, health, and environmental regulations.

Job Summary

The Recycling Technician operates, maintains, and troubleshoots recycling and waste processing equipment while ensuring materials are handled safely and efficiently. • Process waste and recyclable materials according to established procedures, including material handling, weighing, compaction, and loading for shipment or disposal.

• Effective communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with a willingness to take ownership of issues and drive solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse maintenance, industrial operations, recycling, or facilities support.
• Hands-on troubleshooting experience with mechanical, electrical, or production equipment.
• Ability to diagnose equipment issues and make sound decisions with limited supervision.
• Demonstrated track record of reliability, initiative, and contributing to a team-oriented environment.
