Coastal Waste & Recycling in Florida is seeking a Recycling Specialist to identify, separate, and recover recyclable materials while maintaining safe, efficient operations. You will contribute to keeping the recycle stream clean and active, helping protect the environment.

Responsibilities

• Sort recyclable materials such as cardboard, paper, plastics, metals, and glass from the recycling stream.
• Inspect materials and remove contaminants to ensure high-quality recycled products.
• Safely operate around conveyor systems and recycling equipment following safety procedures.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
• Monitor equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns to your supervisor.
• Wear required PPE and promote a culture of safety.
• Follow company policies, environmental regulations, and operational procedures.
• Support teammates and assist other operational needs as directed by your supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
