Coastal Waste & Recycling Inc. is hiring a Recycling Specialist in Florida to identify, separate, and recover recyclable materials while keeping operations safe and efficient. You’ll sort cardboard, paper, plastics, metals, and glass, inspect for contaminants, operate around conveyors, and maintain a clean, safe work area.

Responsabilidades

• Sort recyclable materials (cardboard, paper, plastics, metals, glass) from the stream.
• Inspect materials and remove contaminants to ensure high-quality recycled products.
• Safely operate around conveyors and equipment following safety procedures.
• Keep work areas clean, organized and free of hazards.
• Monitor equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Wear required PPE and promote a safety culture.
• Follow company policies, environmental regulations, and procedures.
• Jump in to assist teammates and support other operational needs as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Your attention to detail and commitment to safety help protect the environment and keep valuable materials in circulation.What You'll DoSort recyclable materials such as cardboard, paper, plastics, metals, and glass from the recycling stream.Inspect materials and remove contaminants to help ensure high-quality recycled products.Safely operate around conveyor systems and recycling equipment while following all company safety procedures.Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.Monitor equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns to your supervisor.Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and promote a culture of safety.Follow all company policies, environmental regulations, and operational procedures.At Coastal, we win as a team.
