Job summary

• Experience in a recycling facility sorting recyclable materials.

Responsibilities

• Sort and segregate recoverable materials from incoming waste.

• Assist other sorters with heavy items as needed.
• Follow safety policies and stop conveyors in emergencies.
• Inspect loads for unacceptable waste and remove items as required.
• Communicate with equipment operators about special loads.
