Job summary

TotalRecycle, Inc. in Birdsboro, PA is seeking a detail-oriented sorter to join our single-stream recycling operation.

This on-site role involves sorting materials, following procedures, and maintaining a clean work area in a fast-paced facility. You will work in a supportive, family environment with competitive salary and benefits, including health and life insurance, a 401K with company match, and eligibility for annual bonus.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to stand throughout the workday.
• Ability to distinguish between recyclable materials.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Sort materials according to company procedures and place in designated bins.
• Perform duties safely in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
• Ensure proper PPE is utilized.
• Maintain a neat and tidy work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

TotalRecycle contains cutting-edge technology that allows for the precise sorting and processing of recyclable materials. Situated on a 14-acre site in Berk’s County, this 75,000 square foot facility accepts all items capable of being recycled. TotalRecycle is the only facility of this magnitude in the area. With its beautiful infrastructure, the complex looks more like a resort than a recycling plant.

What You Will Do:

• Sort materials according to company procedures and place in designate bins
• Perform duties in a safe manner in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies
