Job summary

TotalRecycle, Inc. in Birdsboro, PA is seeking an Industrial Millwright Mechanic to ensure the proper operation of large industrial equipment and perform preventive maintenance.

The role uses hand and power tools, testing devices, and lifting equipment to keep machinery running smoothly and safely. Applicants should read, write, and speak English fluently, have strong problem-solving skills, and understand safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in the safe operation of all garage tools, diagnostic equipment, lifts, hoists and jacking equipment
• Thorough and broad understanding of a variety of equipment
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Thorough understanding of safety practices, guidelines & rules
• A Commercial Driving License (A or B)

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper operation of large industrial equipment
• Use hand tools, and power tools, measuring instruments and lifting devices, jacks, hoist etc.
• Ensure machines perform to specifications by conducting tests; modifies and fine tunes machines
• Disassemble or dismantles machines to perform repairs
• Troubleshoot and repairs machines as required for safe operation
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Perform other related duties as assigned
