Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental, a leading environmental services firm, seeks an onsite Processing Machine Operator for our West Orange, TX recycling operation. You will operate balers, shredders, grinders, and support extrusion processes while maintaining a safety-focused mindset.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, and the ability to work overtime. OSHA safety practices and teamwork are essential as you help drive sustainability in our 100,000 sq ft facility.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.
Strong problem-solving and process-improvement aptitude.
Ability to articulate problems and solutions and maintain safety.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds repetitively and work overtime.

Responsibilities

Identify and label different types of material properly.
Use basic and power hand tools to remove unwanted metal and plastic from recycled plastics.
Help drive sustainability by sorting plastics for grinding and extrusion processes.
Identify when material is not melting properly and adjust temperatures and settings on compounder machines.
Regular cleaning of the work area and tools.
Operate balers, shredders and grinders and work with extrusion equipment.
Stand 8+ hours and operate forklift as needed.
Adhere to Triumvirate’s Health and Safety Practices and OSHA regulations.
