Job summary

The Oregon Beverage Recycling Cooperative seeks a BottleDrop Processing Specialist to support multiple centers with swing and grave shift processing. You will operate equipment to sort, count, and move empty beverage containers for recycling, record counts accurately, and maintain productivity.

Flexibility to travel between centers within a shift is required. Must be able to work in a physical, fast-paced environment, lift up to 50 lbs, and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in warehouse or production preferred.
• Must have dependable vehicle and flexible schedule.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, physical environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication for maintenance requests.

Responsibilities

• Provide nightly support and material processing for different centers.
• Receive, stack and process empty beverage containers.
• Cleaning and maintenance of compaction and sorting equipment.
• Work independently or as part of a two-person shift.
• Possible travel to multiple centers within a shift.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Deep clean BottleDrop centers as needed.
• Follow OBRC policies and OSHA safety rules.
