The AZEK Company is seeking a Recycling Operator for the 1st shift in Indianapolis, IN. The role involves running and maintaining production lines, weighing materials, and ensuring safety and quality compliance throughout the shift.

You will operate forklifts, follow RIS instructions, and maintain accurate logs while supporting a clean, organized work area in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant experience required.
• Must be able to perform mathematical computations (gross, tare, net).
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 55 pounds.
• Work on platforms, stairs, ladders, and near equipment.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to accident-free operations and compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements and regulations.
• Set up, run, shut down, troubleshoot and clean production lines.
• Understand, follow and apply information from the Run Instruction Sheet (RIS).
• Safely operate a sit-down forklift and man lift.
• Maintain and properly complete logs for production ledgers (inbound, outbound, rejects and run) and quality control.
• Complete Ready for Sale (RFS) tags.
• Compute weights via calculator, recording gross, tare and net.
• Weigh material in boxes and hoppers and record weights.
• Take regular samples and report inequities to lab personnel and supervisor.
• Clean boxes, lids and skids and assess packaging condition.
• Complete the Run Number Time Log at shift end and update RIS.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
