Job summary

Circular Services is seeking a dedicated Supervisor to oversee teams operating material processing equipment for recyclables. You will guide staff in sorting, baleing, and operating machinery, ensuring safety and productivity standards are met across shifts.

The role requires strong leadership, a focus on quality, and the ability to follow written procedures. Excellent communication and a proactive approach to process improvements are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising staff in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Ability to follow procedures and work from written instructions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate activities of workers operating equipment for processing recyclable materials.
• Observe sorting, equipment operation, processing and baleing operations.
• Assign duties according to production schedules and ensure safe equipment use.
• Inspect machinery to verify conformance to production standards.
• Prepare time, attendance and production reports.
• Lead and manage approx. 16 employees and motivate by example.
• Support process and quality improvements to optimize workflow.
• Enter production data and related information into computer systems.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
