Job summary

ABM is seeking a Waste Handling Supervisor to lead the waste management team, assign tasks, and guide staff in sorting and disposing of client waste. The role focuses on maintaining safety, compliance, and timely operations across recyclable materials such as cardboard, plastic, scrap, refuse, and pallets.

You will train staff on safe loading/unloading, coordinate with client teams, and ensure adherence to ABM safety standards while reporting to site management on day-to-day tasks.

Qualifications

• Waste Handeling experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must meet all requirements to receive required site badges.
• Bilingual.

Responsibilities

• Always communicate regularly and professionally with client, teammates, staff and other contractors.
• Supervisors are responsible for operating in assigned areas and possible use of balers.
• Supervisors are further responsible for staff training on any/all safe transportation, loading, and unloading of recyclable goods.
• Complies with all security, compliance and safety standards and procedures established by ABM and our Client.
• Reports to ABM site Management Operations on any and all tasks.
