Join our Food Service Support team as a Recycling Composting Specialist Food Service Associate (FSA). In this role, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the Biodigester and maintaining cleanliness in the surrounding area. Key duties include sorting recycling, landfill, and compostable products, assisting with special projects, and ensuring compliance with health and sanitation guidelines. The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, the ability to follow instructions, and a team-oriented mindset.

Essential Responsibilities:
  1. Assumes responsibility for cleanliness of assigned areas in keeping with the Department of Health and Sanitation guidelines.
  2. Sorts recycling, landfill, and compostable products at Greenfield Village restaurant, Stand 44.
  3. Assists with special projects pertaining to the Biodigester.
  4. Daily cleaning of storage bins, power washing, removal of compost from all Greenfield Village food service outlets.
  5. Handles and stores all equipment properly and with care.
  6. Interacts and communicates with guests and colleagues in a professional and friendly manner to ensure an outstanding guests experience for all.
  7. Acts as a team player and provides expertise within the team and with other teams as appropriate.
  8. Adheres to institutional and departmental rules and policies at all times.
  9. Performs other activities as needed.
Your Qualifications:
  1. 18 years of age or older
  2. Valid driver's license
  3. High school diploma or GED

Physical/Environmental:
  1. Frequent standing, walking, pulling, reaching, handing, grasping, carrying, and pushing
