Lakeshore Global Energy FM is seeking a Waste Handler for the Recycle Center in Chattanooga, TN. The role focuses on safe handling, sorting, staging, and transferring waste and recyclables, operating material-handling equipment, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace per 5S standards.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, forklift experience, ability to lift up to 60 pounds, and strong teamwork and customer-service mindset; background checks will be conducted.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid identification to access customer site.
• Prior forklift operating experience.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and customer-service orientation.

Responsabilités

• Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.
• Stack and stage materials in the Recycle Center.
• Ensure waste drums and containers are correctly tagged.
• Load trailers with materials for shipment.
• Empty waste drums into appropriate containers.
• Transfer material to the Recycle Center during peak periods.
• Report safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Perform 5S activities to maintain a clean, organized center.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
