Responsibilities
  • Operate decanning machinery to open catalytic converters and extract internal materials.
  • Inspect catalytic converters for quality and type before processing.
  • Handle and separate metal materials safely.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Monitor machinery performance and perform troubleshooting.
  • Follow safety protocols, including PPE and proper handling of hazardous components.
  • Assist with sorting and categorizing materials for processing.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties and assist with upgrading materials as needed.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in recycling or manufacturing preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to use tools.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
  • Forklift experience is a plus.

Hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm or 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays 8 am to noon.
