As an International Recycled Fiber Trader for Georgia-Pacific Recycling, specializing in paper and fiber sales, you will join our team to maintain and expand our presence in the global recycling marketplace. Your role involves pricing products, negotiating contracts, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and staying informed on market trends and regulatory changes. This fast-paced, dynamic position requires strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Location: We are seeking candidates based on the East Coast. This position offers remote work flexibility with a home base. Candidates should expect to travel 30-50% domestically and internationally, accommodating business needs while maintaining effective communication. Visa sponsorship is not available.

What You Will Do

1. Profitably expand the international trading business and grow mutually beneficial partnerships.
2. Develop and execute effective sales strategies in the paper and fiber sales sector.
3. Price products competitively and negotiate contracts with clients for favorable terms.
4. Foster strong relationships with global partners, coordinating sales efforts and collaboration.
5. Work with internal teams, including operations and logistics, to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
6. Stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes to identify new opportunities.
7. Maintain thorough market research and analysis to identify potential customers, understand their needs, and develop tailored sales proposals.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Experience in a paper or fiber sales role
• International sales experience
• Bachelor's Degree or additional experience in sales, procurement, or international supply chain
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Effective communication skills across organizations
• Ability to proactively set and manage priorities
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with sales, supply chain, logistics, exports, etc.
• Willingness to travel 30%+ domestically and internationally based on business needs

What Will Put You Ahead

• 3+ years in the recycling industry
• Experience trading recycled fiber commodities
• Bilingual skills in European languages, Hindi, or Mandarin
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Finance

Salary range: $125,000 - $175,000 annually, with potential variable pay as a bonus or other form. Compensation varies based on market data, skills, location, and experience. Discuss with your recruiter for details.
