Your Job

As an International Recycled Fiber Trader for Georgia-Pacific Recycling, specializing in paper and fiber sales, you will join our team to maintain and expand our presence in the global recycling marketplace. Your responsibilities will include pricing products, negotiating contracts, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and staying informed on market trends and regulatory changes. This fast-paced, dynamic position requires strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Location: We are seeking candidates based on the East Coast. This position offers the flexibility of remote work with a home base. Candidates should expect to travel 30-50% of the time, accommodating both domestic and international business needs while maintaining effective communication with stakeholders. What You Will Do

1. Profitably expand international trading business and grow mutually beneficial partnerships.
2. Develop and execute effective sales strategies to sustain and grow business in the paper and fiber sales sector.
3. Price products competitively and negotiate contracts with clients to secure favorable terms.
4. Foster strong relationships with global partners, coordinating sales efforts and ensuring effective collaboration.
5. Collaborate with internal teams, including operations and logistics, to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer satisfaction.
6. Stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes to identify new business opportunities.
7. Maintain thorough market research and analysis to identify potential customers, understand their needs, and develop tailored sales proposals.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Experience in a paper or fiber sales role
• International sales experience
• Bachelor's Degree OR additional sales, procurement, or international supply chain experience
• Microsoft Office experience
• Effective communication skills across organizations
• Proactive in setting and managing priorities
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with sales, supply chain, logistics, exports, etc.
• Willingness to travel 30%+ including international and domestic travel based on business needs

What Will Put You Ahead

• 3+ years experience in the recycling industry
• Experience trading recycled fiber commodities
• Bilingual skills (European languages, Hindi, Mandarin)
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Finance

Compensation: We anticipate paying $125,000 - $175,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or other forms. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, skills, and location. Please discuss with your recruiter for details.
