Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is hiring a Recycle Technician in Wilmington, NC to support recycle, reuse, and reclamation initiatives. You will perform essential duties safely within a team, maintain clean work areas, and follow all procedures while ensuring professional communication with colleagues and customers.

The role requires attention to safety, ability to handle repetitive tasks, and adherence to environmental responsibilities, with daily shifts and a starting wage of $17–$18 per hour.

Qualifications

• Bilingual a plus and ability to read and interpret instructions and manuals.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and safe chemical use.
• Experience with cleaning compounds and maintaining cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Perform repetitive tasks and work in a team with other employees.
• Maintain clean work area and dock/collection spaces.
• Follow company procedures and take direction from supervision.
• Talk with lead, supervisor, coworkers, managers, and customers professionally.
• Maintain logs and schedules and support punch-list items.
• Use proper personal protective equipment and present a professional appearance.
• Understand customer service and reporting systems and environmental importance.
• Collect, salvage, and sort reusable or recycle materials; inspect and sort materials.
