Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, or related field.
• One to three years of experience in purchasing, preferably in recycled materials or the paper industry.
• Proficiency with procurement software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage open market and contract purchases of recycled fiber for the Smurfit Westrock mills.
• Negotiate with external fiber suppliers across multiple shipping locations.
• Weekly fiber allocation planning to meet mill consumption and inventory goals.
• Maintain fiber procurement plans aligned with production and regional inventory strategy.
