Montgomery Planning is hiring a Graduate Recruitment Intern to assist with university outreach and recruitment for planning careers. You will help build a diverse pipeline by contacting colleges, coordinating outreach activities, and supporting the recruitment process within the Commission.

Qualifications

• Graduate student enrolled in college/university with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
• Bachelor's degree completed and enrolled in a Master's program in HR-related fields.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment and university outreach efforts.
• Develop and maintain a database of academic programs, contacts, and campus partnerships.
• Coordinate outreach to professors, career centers, and student organizations.
• Support classroom presentations, guest lectures, and career events.
• Help with scheduling, logistics, and marketing for outreach initiatives.
• Draft and draft-edit job advertisements and recruitment requisitions.
• Source passive candidates using networks and ATS.
• Research external recruiting sources and recommend outreach strategies.
• Support career fairs and internship programs.
