DH Pace Company, Inc. is hiring an entry-level Recruiting Specialist to join our team at our corporate headquarters in Olathe, KS.

This role supports Recruiters with day-to-day recruiting operations in a highly administrative role and is a great entry-point to a career in Recruiting or Human Resources. You’ll handle scheduling, candidate communications, background checks, onboarding, I-9s, ID badges, and serve as a contact for candidates and hiring managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and some previous experience or education in HR / Recruiting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Recruiters with day-to-day recruiting operations, including interviewscheduling, candidate communications, and workflow coordination.
• Initiate pre-employment background checks, drug screens, and DOT physicals; monitor results and elevate or advance candidates as appropriate.
• Initiate the onboarding process and complete Employee Action Forms for new hires.
• Collect and verify I-9 documentation from new hires in accordance with federal requirements.
• Create and manage ID Badge access.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates and hiring managers when the assigned Recruiter is unavailable or out of office, ensuring continuity of communication and process.
• Manage the recruiting hotline; respond to candidate inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Register for, track, and attend career fairs and recruiting events; travel as needed.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.

This role is eligible for a hybrid work schedule following an introductory period. You will work alongside the Sr. Recruiting Specialist to support Recruiters with day-to-day recruiting operations. This is a highly administrative role and a great entry-point to a career in Recruiting or Human Resources.

What You’ll Do

What You Bring
