Bremer Whyte Brown & O'Meara, LLP in Newport Beach is seeking a Recruiting Specialist to join our Recruiting Team. The role supports attorney, legal support, and law clerk recruiting across our nine offices, collaborating closely with hiring managers to attract top talent.

You will proactively source candidates through phone, email, LinkedIn, law school networks and job boards; screen and present qualified applicants; and help with lateral hiring strategy and campus outreach events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2–3+ years of sourcing experience; attorney or legal recruiting preferred.
• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other recruiting platforms.
• Strong organization and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Proactively source candidates of all levels through direct outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, law school networks, referrals, job boards, and other creative search strategies.
• Engage passive candidates and generate interest in opportunities at the Firm.
• Screen and interview candidates to evaluate fit and present qualified applicants to Hiring Managers.
• Perform market research and strategize with the Recruiting Team regarding lateral hiring needs.
• Manage job postings and maintain accurate candidate files in the ATS.
• Assist with lateral recruiting and law school outreach, on-campus interviews, and recruiting events.

Bremer Whyte Brown & O'Meara, LLP is seeking a Recruiting Specialist to join our Recruiting Team in our Newport Beach headquarters. We are a reputable and forward-thinking mid-sized law firm with 225+ attorneys across nine offices in four states, recognized for our sixth consecutive year in the U.S. News – Best Lawyers® 'Best Law Firms' rankings. As a Recruiting Specialist, you will work collaboratively with our Recruiting Team, supporting recruiting for attorney, legal support, and law clerk positions across all of our offices.

Responsibilities

• Proactively source candidates of all levels through direct outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, law school networks, referrals, job boards, and other creative search strategies.
• Engage and attract passive candidates, effectively generating interest in opportunities at the Firm.
• Screen and interview sourced candidates to evaluate their fit with the Firm, and present qualified candidates to Hiring Managers.
• Perform market research and strategize with the Recruiting Team regarding lateral hiring needs of the Firm.
• Manage job postings and maintain accurate candidate files in the applicant tracking system.
• Assist the Recruiting Team with all aspects of lateral recruiting as needed.
• Assist with law school outreach, on-campus interview programs, and recruiting events as needed.

• Bachelor's degree required
• 2 - 3+ years of sourcing experience; lateral attorney or legal recruiting agency experience strongly preferred
• Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed and other recruiting platforms
• Highly organized with sharp attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Professional, discreet, and able to handle confidential information appropriately
• Self-motivated, reliable team player with a positive and collaborative personality
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience with applicant tracking systems.

The expected base salary range is $80,000- $100,000, depending upon experience.
