Job summary

Help at Home is seeking a Recruiting Specialist to build talent pipelines and guide applicants through the hiring process for home care roles across the United States. The role emphasizes proactive sourcing, interviewing, and collaboration with managers to meet staffing goals.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in a relevant field, 1–2 years in recruiting, and strong communication and organizational skills, with reliable transportation to travel monthly or quarterly as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in HR, Business, Communication, or a related field.
• HS diploma or GED required; 1–2 years of recruiting experience preferred.
• Prior recruiting or talent acquisition experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Builds talent pipelines by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; presenting information and benefits; maintaining rapport.
• Determines applicant requirements by studying job descriptions and qualifications; attracts applicants by posting ads and using proactive techniques.
• Interviews applicants, analyzes responses, and compares qualifications to job requirements.
• Coordinates scheduling for management interviews when applicable.
• Assesses applicants with managers to ensure alignment with job requirements and qualifications.
• Recommends policies and practices to improve organization attractiveness and compensation practices.
• Meets and/or exceeds Recruiting Department goals.
• Duties may be reassigned as needed by management.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

• Builds talent pipelines by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.
• Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications. Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements and using a variety of reactive and proactive recruiting techniques.
• Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
• When applicable, arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules.
• Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.
• Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks.
• Meets and/or exceeds Recruiting Department and overall Organizational goals.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communication, or a relevant field preferred. High School Diploma or GED required.
• One (1) to two (2) years of previous experience.
• Prior experience in recruiting or talent acquisition preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Sedentary - ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
• Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with others to exchange information.

Travel Requirements

• Monthly or quarterly travel required
