Job summary

Anthropic, a public benefit corporation advancing steerable AI, is hiring a Recruiting Research Scientist for the People Data Solutions team. You’ll apply rigorous scientific methods to recruiting funnels, interview effectiveness, candidate experience, and capacity planning to drive evidence-based people decisions across the organization.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in I/O Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Statistics, Data Science, Economics or related field.
• Experience with selection research, assessment validation, psychometrics, or recruiting funnel analytics.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python/R, with experience in statistical analysis and machine learning.
• Strong data visualization skills and ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute research studies on recruiting funnel health, assessment quality, candidate experience, and quality of hire.
• Test hypotheses on sourcing strategies, interview design, and selection decisions using rigorous methods.
• Lead validation studies of interviews and other selection tools; improve calibration and consistency.
• Design metrics framework for recruiting organization health and governance for metrics across tools.
• Architect analytical solutions turning insights into actionable plans; measure adoption and impact.
• Create visualizations and dashboards; present findings to senior leadership with clear recommendations.
