Job summary

Modern Woodmen in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to support our field leadership organization across the region, with emphasis on college campuses and events. You will partner with Regional Directors, Managing Partners, and Administrative Assistants to attract and recruit talent for field representative opportunities.

In this hybrid role, you will source candidates, coordinate tests, and manage communications from initial contact through onboarding.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of related professional experience.
  • Ability to travel 1-2 times per week during peak seasons.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills for in-person and virtual settings.
  • Strong active listening, critical thinking, and problem solving skills.
  • Proficiency with technology and social media platforms.
  • Ability to build relationships and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

  • Source candidates for regional field positions using multiple recruiting methods.
  • Communicate frequently with all candidates.
  • Monitor recruiting activity and provide solutions for issues or questions.
  • Build relationships with colleges, military and other career offices.
  • Coordinate completion of selection tests including enrollment, scheduling, and results.
  • Prepare monthly reports on region recruiting activities.
  • Re-evaluate recruiting processes to ensure goals are met.
  • Research industry data to implement new strategies.

Join our team as a Recruiting Coordinator at our Regional Office in Raleigh, NC and play a key role in building the future of our field leadership organization. In this position, you will partner closely with Regional Directors, Managing Partners, and Administrative Assistants to attract and recruit top talent for field representative opportunities across an assigned region with a specific emphasis in college campuses/events. Using your relationship-building skills, organizational expertise, and passion for connecting people with meaningful careers, you will help drive the recruiting process and cultivate a strong pipeline of candidates from initial contact through onboarding.

  • Source candidates for field positions for the region utilizing various recruiting methods, including internet searches. Achieve expected levels of candidate referrals to assigned regional office.
  • Communicate frequently with all candidates.
  • Monitor recruiting activity of regional assignment and provide solutions for issues, questions, or concerns.
  • Build relationships with colleges, military and other association career and placement offices to actively recruit.
  • Coordinate completion of selection tests including enrollment, scheduling, and distribution results.
  • Prepare monthly reports on region recruiting activities and results and report to the Regional Director.
  • Re-evaluate recruiting processes and systems to ensure goals are being met.
  • Research industry data to implement new strategies.
What we need
  • High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of related professional experience.
  • Ability to travel 1-2 times per week primarily in the fall and spring, majority is day trips with an occasional overnight.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to speak confidently to groups in both in-person and virtual settings.
  • Strong active listening, critical thinking, and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated research skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency with technology and social media platforms.
  • Ability to build relationships, adapt to changing priorities, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
What we offer
  • Pay: The hourly pay for this position is $30.00. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and prior experience. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employment-based sponsorship. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time, nor can we guarantee future sponsorship.
  • Work Arrangements: This position is a hybrid position with 4 days work from home and 1 day in the regional office located in Raleigh, NC.
