Job summary

Civitas Senior Living in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to build and drive on-site hiring events and candidate relationships. This role blends recruiting, events, and employer-brand storytelling, with significant travel to Civitas communities and events.

You'll manage events at communities, partner with leadership, develop relationships with nursing programs and schools, and create engaging content for recruitment across markets. This is an in-office role when not traveling.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in recruiting coordination, talent acquisition, event coordination, marketing, employer branding, or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to create engaging social media content and sample work.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute on-site hiring events at Civitas Senior Living communities, partnering directly with Executive Directors and department leaders.
• Represent Civitas at career fairs, college and trade-school events, workforce programs, and other recruiting events across our markets.
• Build relationships with nursing programs, culinary schools, universities, workforce organizations, and other sources of talent.
• Create engaging employer-brand content, including short-form video, photography, social posts, and recruiting materials.
• Capture authentic stories from our communities, including team member spotlights, day-in-the-life content, hiring-event recaps, and workplace culture stories.
• Manage candidate activity within our applicant tracking system, including scheduling, candidate communication, follow-up, and pipeline management.
• Help ensure strong candidates keep moving through the hiring process and aren't lost because of slow follow-up.
• Partner with recruiters and community leaders on strategies for hard-to-fill and high-volume positions.
• Track recruiting effectiveness, including source of hire, event results, candidate conversion, content performance, and time-to-fill.
• Identify what is working across markets and help scale successful recruiting strategies throughout Civitas

We’re looking for a Recruiting Coordinator who can help us find, engage, and attract the people who bring our communities to life every day. This role sits at the intersection of recruiting, relationship‑building, events, and employer‑brand storytelling.

We want someone who is just as comfortable running a hiring event in a community lobby as they are creating a Reel that makes someone think, I want to work there. This is not a traditional desk‑based recruiting role. You’ll spend significant time in the field — hosting hiring events at our communities, attending career fairs, developing partnerships with nursing programs, culinary schools, trade schools, and universities, and working alongside community leaders to solve real staffing needs.

When you are not traveling to Civitas communities or recruiting events, you will work from our Fort Worth office. This is not a remote or hybrid position.

What You Bring

• 2+ years of experience in recruiting coordination, talent acquisition, event coordination, marketing, employer branding, or a related field
• Demonstrated ability to create engaging social media or digital content — bring examples of your work. We care more about what you've created than where you learned to create it
• Comfort capturing and editing video using mobile tools such as Canva, CapCut, or similar platforms
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively, including occasional overnight travel and weekend recruiting events
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple communities, events, candidates, and priorities at the same time
• Strong follow‑through and a sense of urgency when working with candidates and hiring leaders
• Genuine comfort connecting with people at every level of an organization

You may spend one day talking with caregivers, the next recruiting culinary talent, and the next helping a community find its next nurse, maintenance professional, or department leader. You should enjoy that variety.

Nice to Have

• Experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, multifamily, retail, or another high‑volume hourly hiring environment
• Experience working within an applicant tracking system
• Experience coordinating recruiting campaigns across multiple locations or markets
• Familiarity with employer branding, social recruiting, recruitment marketing, or organic social media content
