The University of Maryland College Park (UMCP) seeks a motivated candidate to support the recruitment efforts of its MBA and Master’s programs. This position involves outreach to prospects, coordinating recruiting events, and assisting with student admissions.
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree and strong communication skills, with the ability to multitask and maintain a service-oriented approach.
Compensation ranges from $55,000 to $65,000, with comprehensive health and retirement benefits.
The position located in Van Munching Hall supports the recruitment efforts of nationally ranked Full-Time MBA, Flex MBA, EMBA, and eight Business Master’s programs. The role includes prospective candidate outreach via email, phone, text messaging, and various platforms; assisting with recruiting and yield events, candidate interviews, consultations, presentations, website updates, and other recruiting tasks.
The role serves as liaison between the MBA/MS Admissions Office and other departments (Master’s Programs Office and Office of Career Services). Primary responsibility is initial outreach to prospects for all programs and helping prospective students progress through the admissions pipeline.
Domestic and international travel will be required depending on unit needs. Proven ability to use time, plan, and coordinate multiple projects; highly developed organizational and computer skills; friendly, flexible, service-oriented manner; sound judgment; effective communication with external candidates, faculty, corporate clients, executives, and staff; ability to work independently across functions; willingness and ability to make calls to potential candidates.

Regular salary range $55,000 to $65,000. Regular exempt benefits: comprehensive health, dental, vision, retirement, and paid time off packages.
