Job description

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for partnering with assigned hiring managers to forecast staffing needs, develop candidate pipelines, source, market, and attract talent to foster the mission of the organization. The role involves formulating strategies to acquire talent for filling requisitions. Using Behavioral Interview techniques, the specialist screens, interviews, and selects candidates to proceed through the candidate selection process. Collaboration with hiring managers is essential to select top candidates for further on-site visits at the facility level. The specialist extends offers and oversees onboarding activities, maintaining excellent relations with candidates and hiring managers. Additionally, the role involves analyzing productivity metrics against Service Level Agreements to exceed industry benchmarks in the Top Quartile.

Rate: $25-$38/hr

Location: WFD TA - Division office is 14055 Riveredge Dr, Tampa, FL

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Partner with hiring managers to forecast staffing needs by reviewing attrition rates, business plans, and retirements.
  2. Develop strategies to ensure vacancies are filled to facility-specific levels, staffing for new and expanding programs aligns with opening dates, and retirement replacement plans are implemented.
  3. Utilize external scanning tools to understand labor market conditions and educate hiring managers accordingly.
  4. Articulate expertise and market position to potential candidates, representing the business line effectively.
  5. Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers, develop recruitment plans, and set Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  6. Source and recruit candidates, mastering pre-closing techniques during candidate intake.
  7. Use Behavioral Interviewing techniques, review resumes, credentials, and assessments to identify candidates who are a good fit for the mission and meet minimum qualifications.
Required Education and Experience:
  • At least 2 years of recruiting/sourcing experience
  • HR Certification through HCI or SHRM
  • Certification in Talent Acquisition through HCI, NAHCR, or RACR
