About the Role

A national nonprofit is hiring a Contract Recruiter for its Workforce Management team. This role sits between relationship-building and talent matching. You’ll partner with local and regional nonprofit agencies, interview job seekers with disabilities, and connect them to open roles, including jobs through a federal employment program for people with disabilities. You’ll work two ways: jobs-first, by reviewing open roles and reaching out to partner agencies who may have the right candidates; and candidates-first, by taking referrals from partners and matching those candidates to openings. The team is evolving and building as it goes, so this is a good fit for someone who likes creating structure rather than following it.

  • Interview candidates with disabilities to understand their skills, interests, and support needs

  • Coach partner agencies on hiring practices like clear job requirements, interviewing, and timely follow-up
  • Work with the internal partnerships team on warm introductions to new organizations
  • Track referrals, activity, and outcomes in Excel and Smartsheet
