AUTOKINITON US HOLDINGS, INC. is seeking an experienced recruiter to manage end-to-end hiring for our corporate team at the New Boston, MI office.

You will interview, assess, and select candidates, coordinate with hiring managers, and build strong talent pipelines to meet business needs. Responsibilities include conducting intake meetings, reviewing applications, extending offers, and guiding managers through the recruitment lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources/Recruiting or Business Administration is required.
• Experience in interviewing, evaluating candidates, and coordinating with hiring managers.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment and recruiting laws.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills are essential.
• Ability to sell, influence, negotiate, and collaborate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Selects, interviews, and recommends placement of candidates for open positions.
• Review’s employment applications and evaluates work history, education and training, job skills, compensation needs and other qualifications of applicant.
• Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to understand business needs, define position requirements, identify critical skills and competencies, and align on candidate profile, sourcing strategy, and hiring timeline
• Reviews job orders and matched candidates/ applicants with job requirements, utilizing manual or computerized file search.
• Consults with management to identify and recommend the most qualified candidates.
• Maintain effective working relationships with all levels of company management to ensure adequate coverage of personnel needs.
• Develop effective working relationships with search firm, placement agencies, colleges, universities technical schools, job fairs, etc.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill automotive manufacturing positions.
• Selects recruiting sources and techniques to fulfill the company’s needs by attracting qualified candidates.
• Support candidate onboarding process to include pre-hire screens, onboarding and orientation. Working in partnership with local Human Resources.
• Extend offers to selected candidates.
• Coach and guide hiring managers.
• Keeps informed of developments in such areas as compensation, employee benefits and general human resources practices.

This salary-exempt role is a part of our human resources team and reports to the Director of Human Resources.

Required experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources/Recruiting, Business Administration.
• Minimum six (6) years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local interviewing, employment and recruiting laws.
• Time management, organization and documentation skills.
• Has the ability to sell, influence, negotiate and collaborate.
• Excellent written, verbal, listening, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Requires the ability to adapt to change and new priorities.
• Requires objectivity when making decisions.
