Base pay range

$80,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr

Our client, a leading NYC-based credit union, is seeking a full-time Internal Recruiter to join their growing talent team. This role will be the third member of the internal talent team, managing 75 job requisitions and supporting hiring efforts across the organization. While the position offers remote flexibility, please be advised that candidates should be in greater NYC area to travel to their office for events, team meetings, etc.

Job Function

  • Partner with HR and hiring managers to assess staffing needs and define job roles.
  • Source and identify qualified candidates to efficiently fill open positions.
  • Develop and implement full-cycle recruiting strategies, including alternative staffing approaches.
  • Track and present recruiting metrics to support data-driven hiring decisions.
  • Manage candidate applications, conduct phone screenings, and assist in interviews.
  • Train and coach hiring managers on interview best practices and provide reference materials.
  • Organize and coordinate job fair participation, including delivering presentations.
  • Serve as the point of contact for job inquiries and application procedures.
  • Coordinate travel and accommodations for out-of-town candidates and conduct employment verifications.


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience; financial services industry experience is a plus.
  • Proven ability to attract top talent through various sourcing channels, including social media networks, employee referrals, direct sourcing, name generation, and online recruitment tools.
  • Experience recruiting across multiple functions, levels, and job roles.
  • Strong expertise in talent scouting, direct candidate sourcing, evaluation, hiring, and talent management, with a focus on building a diverse and high-performing talent pipeline.
  • Experience working with ADP or similar Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
