Gartner, Inc. is seeking an Executive Recruiter to source, qualify, and match candidates for OC-1 to OC-3 level roles across business units. You will guide HR partners on sourcing strategies, channels, and market conditions, while developing deep knowledge of our business and talent pools.

You will manage the full recruitment cycle for complex executive roles, maintain confidentiality, and build strong pipelines for senior leadership. Strong interviewing and stakeholder management are essential.

  • Seven years of recruiting experience handling full lifecycle for complex executive roles.
  • Proven self-sourcing and use of networking/social channels to build candidate pools.
  • Experience advising senior executives and managing confidential searches.

Responsibilities

  • Develop recruiting strategy with hiring manager for OC-1/OC-2/OC-3 roles.
  • Manage full recruitment cycle and liaise with partners/vendors to close candidates.
  • Counsel hiring managers on interview skills to minimize risk and ensure compliance.
  • Build pipelines of diverse senior candidates for bench strength and succession planning.
  • Maintain data integrity in Workday and Beamery with timely entries.

Job description

Job Description: The Executive Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, qualifying, and matching candidates to defined executive level roles (OC-1, OC-2, and OC-3) and profiles (VP and above) with specific open requisitions across various Business Units. This role will guide HR partners, OC members and their respective direct reports, on candidate sourcing strategies, targeted recruitment channels and existing and expected market conditions. They will develop a thorough understanding of the business, client needs and specific talent pools and share detailed and consistent reporting on search detail/status. Major Responsibilities: Develop and facilitate recruiting strategy with hiring manager (OC members and/or their direct reports), partnering closely to understand and account for team dynamic and culture Actively pursue all channels (professional networks, social media, and association affiliations) to source, attract and effectively close best in class talent for senior level roles Manage the full recruitment cycle for complex executive level roles; liaise with internal partners and external vendors to close candidates Maintain strict discretion/confidentiality with details of searches Maximize direct hiring, using agency/vendor channels only when approved by VP Manage data integrity within Workday applicant tracking system, and Beamery, ensuring timely entry within both database systems Counsel hiring managers on interview skills throughout the process to ensure compliance and to minimize risk factors Prioritize among multiple requisitions, conflicting priorities, and short timelines dependent upon alignment with individual lines of business and with Gartner’s strategic direction Build pipelines of high quality, diverse senior level candidates for bench strength and succession planning by developing and proactively managing a network of recruitment and referral sources Provide coaching and guidance to junior level recruiting staff Job Requirements Minimum 7 years’ experience of recruiting experience, handling the full lifecycle across complex roles and differing profiles Preferred previous experience in executive level recruiting with hiring manager contact up to senior most organizational level Proven track record of success self-sourcing and using all available networking/social channels to build candidate pools. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
