Job summary

Garman Partners is seeking a motivated Recruiter to source, engage, and place talent across Auto, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing roles. You’ll build pipelines, screen candidates, and ensure a positive candidate experience from first contact to offer.

This role requires 2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in Construction, Engineering, or Automation, plus on-site work at the Des Moines, IA office. We offer a competitive base salary with uncapped commissions and structured training.

Recruiter – Auto, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing

In this role, you’ll be instrumental in sourcing, engaging, and building relationships with exceptional candidates across a variety of roles - especially in the specialized Auto, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) industry.

Responsibilities:

• Candidate Sourcing: Use innovative sourcing techniques to attract top-tier talent via job boards, social media, referrals, professional networks, and internal databases.

• Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a steady pipeline of passive candidates through strategic outreach, including cold calls and targeted email campaigns.

• Screening & Interviewing: Assess candidate qualifications through in-depth screening and interviews to ensure alignment with client needs.

• Candidate Experience: Foster strong relationships with candidates to ensure a positive, professional, and seamless recruitment experience from start to finish.
