Job summary

Ascentec Engineering is seeking a Recruiter to own the full-cycle process—from posting jobs to sourcing candidates, screenings, and guiding candidates through pre-employment. This onsite role is based at our Tualatin, Oregon headquarters with occasional travel to our Dallas, Oregon facility.

You will partner with hiring managers to ensure a seamless, high-quality hiring experience, maintain the ATS, and stay compliant with employment laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS); Paylocity experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Working knowledge of employment laws and hiring best practices.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Adaptability and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Create, publish, and manage job postings across company and external platforms.
• Proactively source and engage qualified candidates using tools such as Indeed and LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Review resumes and applications to identify top talent aligned with role requirements.
• Conduct initial candidate screenings and interviews to assess qualifications and fit.
• Coordinate interview logistics and schedules with hiring managers and stakeholders.
• Partner in the interview process, delivering thoughtful, data-driven candidate evaluations.
• Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all recruiting activities within the ATS.
• Collaborate with department leaders to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Provide consistent updates and insights on recruiting progress to HR leadership and senior management.

Ascentec Engineering is hiring a Recruiter! We’re looking for a detail-oriented, highly motivated professional to join our growing team. This role plays a critical part in attracting and hiring top talent to support our expanding operations in Tualatin and Dallas, Oregon.
